چکیده

New insights from genomic studies have had an impact on the definition and diagnosis of several lymphoid tumors including follicular B-cell lymphomas, aggressive diffuse large lymphoproliferations associated with acquired posttransplant immunodeficiencies. Follicular lymphoma (FL) includes whose behavior varies widely indolent/early lesions to aggressive/transformed lymphomas. Although some lymphomas can be subclassified as specific entities, majority lack characteristics necessary for subclassification and, thus, are termed lymphoma, NOS. There been, however, changes in classification subtypes well addition new a few which highlighted this article. The immunodeficiency-related lymphoproliferative disorders currently divided into four major categories based clinical setting they arose: primary immune deficiency, post-transplant, HIV infection, iatrogenic immunosuppression. In two upcoming classifications systems hematolymphoid neoplasms, International Consensus Classification (ICC) WHO-HAEM-5, there is divergence approach categorize these lesions. Furthermore, whereas WHO-HAEM-5 confirms ability classify spectrum EBV+ DLBCL, NOS, ICC has separated out that composed heterogenous cellular infiltrate separate category, “EBV-positive polymorphic B cell disorder, NOS”. Both recognize number KSHV/HHV8-associated acknowledge significant overlap among different future, translation innovations general practice requires further validation.

Large B-cell lymphoma in a dog: A cyto-histopathological evaluation and Immunophenotyping according to WHO classification for canine lymphomas

In the present study, we described cyto-histopathological features and immunophenotyping of the large B-cell lymphoma in an 8-year-old mixed breed dog with applying the World Health Organization (WHO) system of classification of canine lymphomas. In fine-needle aspiration (FNA), lymph nodes were involved by neoplastic cells of intermediate to large size with deep blue cytoplasm; consist of cent...

malignant b cell lymphomas vs benign lymphoproliferations and the role of immunoglobulin heavy chain gene rearrangement analysis

abstract  background and objectives malignant lymphoma may be very difficult to be diagnosed through routine histopathological methods because they may mimic reactive architecture or contain reactive infiltrates. detection of the monoclonal lymphocyte population is one of the best methods of diagnosis since a monoclonal proliferation is strongly suggestive of neoplasia. by means of a pcr method...

Understanding MYC-driven aggressive B-cell lymphomas: pathogenesis and classification.

MYC is a potent oncogene initially identified as the target of the t(8;14)(q24;q32) chromosome translocation in Burkitt lymphoma. MYC gene alterations have been identified in other mature B-cell neoplasms that are usually associated with an aggressive clinical behavior. Most of these tumors originate in cells that do not normally express MYC protein. The oncogenic events leading to MYC up-regul...

Epstein-Barr Virus Related Lymphoproliferations After Stem Cell Transplantation

Epstein-Barr virus related lymphoproliferative disorders are a rare but potentially fatal complication of allogeneic stem cell transplantation with an incidence of 1-3% and occurring within 6 months after transplantation. The most relevant risk factors include the use of in vivo T-cell depletion with antithymocyte globulin, HLA disparities between donor and recipient, donor type, splenectomy et...
